Hi Lisa, Maree, Tom and the team
After two shake down trips to the Wimmera and Snowy Mountains without a problem we finally did a bigger one to Perth and back. 8500 kms through sand, desert, salt lakes, scrub, beaches, gravel, bitumen and corrugations(not to mention hordes of flies and a central Australian mouse plague). As promised here are a few photos which show the camper.
She performed beautifully both in the towing and braking as well as in the putting up and down functions, no rattles, squeaks or anything coming loose. There were a couple of minor dust leaks but compared to others on the road they were insignificant and we were the envy of quite a few others in that regard !!
After a thousand or so k's of gravel there is some paint missing as is to be expected. I will be taking her down the Mornington Peninsula next week so I will drop by and get your advice on whether I need to do anything about the paint chips or let it go until it requires a total repaint, I think I recall you saying that you offer this.
Hope the photos are of some interest and look forward to seeing you next week,
